Shri Durgaprasad Saraf College of Arts & Applied Sciences was established on 03-09-1975 by M/s. Ferro Alloys Corporation Ltd., Shreeramnagar, under the aegis of Shreeram Vidyapeeth (Regd.) in the name of its founder and visionary Shree Durgaprasadji. In the year 1977, a new campus with palatial buildings, well equipped laboratories Library and reading room facilities was created. The campus was located on a 18.52 acre plot in calm and quiet surroundings with an imposing hill as a backdrop and a mango garden by its side providing shade and beauty to the campus.

Shreeram Junior College was established on 1977 by M/s. Ferro Alloys Corporation Ltd., Shreeramnagar, under the aegis of Shreeram Vidyapeeth (Regd.) in the name of its founder and visionary Shree Durgaprasadji.
