The Industry

What makes Solar & Electrical different

Solar and electrical equipment carries obligations most industries do not: serialised products under warranty, project orders that run for months with milestone billing, and components — cells, inverters, cables, enclosures — sourced from many suppliers with their own certifications. The system has to remember every serial number for years, not months.

Where It Breaks

What goes wrong in Solar & Electrical without a system

01

Serial traceability

Which cells, which inverter, which batch went into the unit at site X. Needed for every warranty claim; rarely available.

02

Orders that are projects

Milestones, site deliveries, retention money. Invoicing a plain sales order does not fit.

03

Imported components

Certifications, long lead times and currency exposure on cells and electronics from overseas.

04

Service and AMC

Installed base, complaints, AMC renewals and spares — usually in a separate spreadsheet, usually out of date.

05

Testing and compliance

Test reports per unit and BIS/IEC records that have to be audit-ready on demand.

How The System Handles It

Modules configured for Solar & Electrical

Each one answers a problem on the previous list. Take the modules you need; add the rest when the plant is ready.

Serial & Batch Traceability

Every finished unit carries its serial and the serials and batches of what went into it. Trace both ways, years later.

Project & Milestone Billing

Orders as projects with milestones, site-wise deliveries, retention and running invoices.

Procurement & Imports

Purchase orders in foreign currency, landed cost, certifications attached to the lot, lead-time tracking.

Installed Base & Service

Every installed unit with site, warranty and AMC. Complaints, visits, spares and renewals against it.

Testing & Compliance

Test results per unit and compliance documents per model, retrievable by serial for any audit.

Assembly Production

Line-wise assembly orders with component issue by serial, stage-wise status and yield.

Questions We Get

On the first call, Solar & Electrical manufacturers usually ask

If yours is not here, ask it — we would rather answer than guess.

Yes. At assembly, component serials and batches are issued to the unit’s serial. Years later, a warranty query on that serial shows every part inside it and the supplier lot it came from.

Orders can be set up as projects with milestones, site-wise deliveries and retention. Invoices are raised against milestones as they complete, and the project shows billed, received and outstanding at a glance.

Purchase orders in foreign currency, landed-cost calculation with freight, duty and clearing, and certification documents attached to the received lot — so compliance evidence is stored where the stock is.

The installed base is a module: every unit, its site, warranty and AMC dates. Complaints, service visits and spares consumption are logged against it, and renewals due are reported ahead of time.
